When owners encounter behavioral problem in their pets it often leaves them helpless because animals lack the ability of speech and they are unable to communicate their problem. The owners have no way of understanding what is wrong with their pets. People who own pets should have the knowledge of pet problems in order to take good care of them. Pet problems vary with every animal because animals are as diverse in nature as humans are.

For example, pet dogs could be aggressive towards the family, strangers and they even display this behavioral disorder in order to survive.

Aggression in cats
As cats start ageing, they have a tendency of becoming aggressive. They turn aggressive towards the people in the house and other pets in the household. The reason for aggression may be a medical problem such as arthritis that causes pain. Stress could also be another reason for behavioral problems. Cats experience stress and anxiety when they encounter separation.
Noise phobias
It is not known why pets are afraid of loud noises. It is a more common problem seen in dogs than in cats. The fear should be treated as soon as possible because it could turn into phobia. Thunderstorms cause change in barometric pressure, electrostatic disturbances and unusual smells associated with it. A recent research has found that particular breeds have above average chances of developing this phobia.
It would be a wise decision to consult a vet immediately with such pet behavioral problems because it could get out of hand and become a major problem.
